The Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) is an industry organisation financed by UK farmers and others in the agricultural supply chain to help the industry thrive in an ever-evolving world.
AHDB’s goal is to foster a top-tier food and farming industry that is both inspired by and competitive with the best.
Our mission
Due to its statutory levy status, AHDB is categorised as a non-departmental public body (NDPB) and is sponsored by the UK’s Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA). For exports, AHDB emphasises priority markets, opens new global opportunities targeting international consumers and trade, and collaborating across government and industry sectors.
